LIKE Substring Match (ILIKE)

Finds any value that contains your search term as a substring, case-insensitive. Fastest mode. No threshold needed.

FUZZY Levenshtein Distance

Counts the minimum number of single-character edits (inserts, deletes, substitutions) to transform one string into another. Good for catching typosquatting.

Threshold = max edits allowed. Default: max(1, length/4). For "barclays" (8 chars) → default threshold = 2.

SIMILARITY Jaro-Winkler Similarity

Scores similarity 0.0–1.0 based on matching characters and their order, with a bonus for common prefixes. Best for brand name variations.

Threshold = minimum similarity score. Default: 0.85. Higher = stricter matching.
